After the talent show, the two Christmas Camp awards are presented. I don't know how to describe these awards in writing, so let's just say that The Patsy is the "best camper" award. The recipient is selected by a vote of all campers. The StanPat is an award given to a camper who does something that embodies the spirit of Christmas Camp in a random non-Patsy-seeking kind of way. The winner of the StanPat then chooses the next StanPat recipient.
This year, dear Uncle Tim was the winner of the prestigious Patsy.....
And JAMES won the StanPat!
I forgot to mention that these awards are to be displayed in a "place of honor" in your home for the year --- and yes, the StanPat now sits proudly in our living room!
