Well, it has snowed for well over 24 hours. I think the final snow totals range from 20-30 inches in the D.C. area. All I know is - it snowed A LOT, complete with howling winds, thunder, and lightning!!! I am beginning to go stir crazy and hope that the city gets some services up and running tomorrow (like the Smithsonian) so that I can get out and do SOMETHING!
I tried to do some before and afters from the hotel. These pictures really do not do this thing justice. I saw people walking in unplowed snow on the news -- and it was easily past their waists!!!
