March Catchup: Ear Tubes
We have fought ear infections since Robert's first fall/winter. We finally gave in and got tubes in mid-March. So far, so good. We've actually been able to go a month without an oral antibiotic! We are still haunted by eczema, but it is nice to not constantly worry about ear infections for a change!! We had the surgery done at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital, and they took special care of our precious Robert. I was amazed at how well the staff handled the children.

The surgery was done in no time at all (the doctor came out to talk to us exactly 12 minutes from when they took Robert back!), and everything went smoothly. Robert woke up a little loopy, as you can tell from these pics, but he thought an orange popsicle for breakfast was about the greatest thing ever!
