Before I Forget

One more Robert story before I forget it.  This past weekend, Carolyn/Nanny took a bit of a downhill slide, and we were all at the hospital waiting for them to do a procedure on her lung.  Robert was banned from the ICU waiting room (because no children under 12 were allowed in the area), so we went next door to the childbirth family waiting room.  Thankfully, Robert quickly made friends with an 18 month old little girl named Brooklyn.  Brooklyn (as a child under 12) was also banned from visiting her new baby cousin and had spent the afternoon in the waiting room at the hospital.  Robert and Brooklyn kept each other company for a couple of hours and had a fantastic time playing together (Brooklyn's mommy had thought to bring LOTS of toys).  Robert thought she was pretty great, but he just couldn't quite get her name right.  He would ask, "Where did Broccoli go?"  Or say, "Broccoli, watch this!"  Cute little Brooklyn was slightly confused, but seemed to just go with it. . . .  If Robert ever becomes a celebrity who names his children weird names, I predict he will have a daughter named Broccoli.
