Post Mother's Day weekend roundup

First, this is my first "mobile" post thanks to a new iPhone app. I am perhaps a bit too excited about it! ;-)

Second, I hope Mother's Day was fantastic for all you mommies out there! Ours was perfectly low key. After church and our beloved Sunday afternoon snooze, Robert and I played outside while James built some small planter boxes for me. The man knows the way to my heart during growing season! One of my Mother's Day gifts was this beauty...




...which Robert and I painted brown and filled with dirt and zinnia seeds yesterday. James made a couple of smaller ones, too. I am so excited about getting to grow things again after taking last year off due to our move to Kentucky.
