Well, right about now, he's somewhere over the Atlantic Ocean on his way to Chicago.... and then Nashville..... which means I can let down my paranoid guard against internet crazies who read blogs of small-town Methodist pastors, locate the parsonage, and do mean things to wives who are home alone with small children.... (ya get my point?)..... and tell you where James has been!
You may have noticed that he has been absent from my recent posts... that's because for about the last 2 weeks, he has been in England (Salisbury, Oxford, Bristol, and London to be exact) on a John Wesley immersion summer school trip. He has had a very memorable time and has kept a journal -- of which I hope to share bits of on this blog. He has visted many historical places related to the United Methodist Church and John Wesley -- and even saw the Queen and Prince Phillip while out one evening in London!
Robert and I are quite excited to pick him up at the airport this afternoon..... more about his trip later.... but for now, a picture of the Salisbury cathedral at Sarum College.... looks like a beautiful place!
