Rub a Dub Dub

Robert is always resistant to stop playing to take a bath.  However, once you get him into the bathtub, it's always difficult to get him to stop playing to get out!  He has recently started washing his rubber ducky.  It is really funny to listen to him say the same things that we say to him.  "We've got to get under your arms."  "Let's wash your bootie."  My favorite part, however, is when he washes his duck's hair.  When we wash Robert's hair, we use a big cup to dump water on his head to rinse.  Robert does the same thing to the duckie and repeats verbatim what we say to him:

"Okay.  Let's rinse real quick.  (dump water) Hold on.  (dump water)  That's a big boy!  (dump water) Almost done!  (dump water) One more time!"

The day to day joys of parenthood continue to be overwhelmingly wonderful!
