Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I was in choir my first year at Lambuth.  We sang a song that spring that was based on an Irish blessing.  It was a beautiful song, and it has made the words of that particular Irish blessing stand out in my mind to this day.

So today, in honor of St. Patrick's Day, an Irish blessing....

May the road rise to meet you;

May the wind be always at your back;

May the sun shine warm upon your face;

May the rains fall soft upon your fields, and until we meet again,

May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
